A mysterious scene
[edit]Was there a mysterious scene, where one of the heroines in "As The World Turns" tells another woman, that she 'Has entered a very dark room and she has found something 'red, shining and mysterious? Someone suggested to me it must be the time when Kim finds a shrine to her, but somehow I think the woman was blonde and she was telling it to someone else. So are there any similar scenes/story lines to the shrine one from the 80's as well?
Untitled
[edit]I think this should be more of a place for objective reporting on the show's history, not whether you think the "globeless" opening is a "sellout" or not.

Is DirecTV picking up As The World Turns?
[edit]There are rumors going around that DirecTV might pick up As The World Turns including on the official site for the show. Is it true that DirecTV is going to pick up the show? There are websites saying that DirecTV might pick up As The World Turns. Is it okay to add it in this article that there are rumors that DirecTV might consider picking up the series?
Sky 1
[edit]According to § International broadcast,
- Since it ended its run on September 17, 2010, the classic reruns of As the World Turns currently air on Sky 1 since September 20, 2010.
Where? Sky 1 broadcasts only in the UK and Ireland, which are not among the six countries mentioned in the section. The infobox summarizes the history:
- Launched
- 26 April 1982 (Norway and Finland)
- 27 June 1983 (Western Europe)
- Closed
- 30 July 1989 (everywhere except UK and Ireland)
If Sky1 is broadcasting ATWT classic reruns in the UK and/or Ireland, that fact should be in the main paragraph of the article along with the other countries, and in the same format. And since this sentence was added anonymously and without a reference, I'm just deleting it.
